Student Life

Penn State's extracurricular activities allow you to sample agricultural interests outside your area of study and build your resume. Many of our faculty are active in clubs and organizations so it's a good way to meet your peers and professors outside the classroom.

If outdoor recreation is your thing, you will find some of the best biking, hiking, fishing, and canoeing only a short drive from campus.

The Graduate Student Associate is a great resource that can help you to find answers to just about any questions you might have. Many University offices routinely refer students to the GSA for questions on just about any subject.

Whether it's local maps, a brochure comparing banks and their services, bus schedules, or a booklet highlighting child care facilities, the GSA is a great resource to help make Penn State your home away from home during your graduate years.

To see just what's happening, check out our Graduate Student Association, it's online and waiting for you now: http://www.clubs.psu.edu/up/gsa/

The Graduate Student Associate also offers a “Guide to Graduate Life” to help acclimate new students to the Penn State community.
